Lewis Woolf, a native of Hanover, Germany, became a resident of Pottsgraove, Philadelphia (now Montgomery) county, and served int he Continental army, in the Troop Marechausse, commanded by Captain Bartholomew Von Heer, and accoutred as light dragoons."
